• The Play Group programme is designed to give a child the basic foundation for learning. The child develops self-confidence, independence, and concentration through Montessori activities. The programme refines the five senses- sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch to prepare the child for an all-round development.What a child hears, touches, sees and experiences in their environment not only helps form memories but also helps the child’s spirit, curiosity and identity strengthen. The language curriculum is phonetic in nature and powerful teaching tool to help children learn to decode phonetic words. At this stage, the child refines both fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Fine motor skills are heightened through practical life activities such as pouring, sorting etc. Gross motor skills are heightened in physical activities such as rhythm/music movement and outdoor play. The key is to set up the environment in which a child succeeds to be able to do things by itself safely.
